  • Account & Subscription Data – Managed through RevenueCat and Apple App Store Connect to process payments, verify subscriptions, and provide access to features.
  • Analytics & Usage Data – Collected via Firebase to understand app performance, crash reports, and feature usage.
  • Device Information – Includes device type, OS version, app version, and diagnostic data.
  • User Content – Tasks, routines, and notes remain on your device unless you export them; we do not store personal task data on our servers.
  • Email & Marketing Preferences – If you sign up for our newsletter or updates, your email address and preferences are processed by Mailchimp.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve app functionality.
  • Manage subscriptions and purchases.
  • Monitor app performance, fix bugs, and ensure reliability.
  • Send relevant updates and marketing communications (via Mailchimp, if you opt in).

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your data. We share limited information with third-party services we use to operate the app:

  • RevenueCat & Apple App Store Connect – subscription and billing management.
  • Firebase – analytics, crash reporting, and security management.
  • Superwall – paywall and subscription interface.

These providers only receive the minimum necessary information to perform their services.

5. Security

Security is processed and managed by Firebase. We take reasonable measures to protect your data and cannot access your personal task information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

  • Subscription and purchase records are retained as required for financial and legal obligations.
  • Analytics and crash data are retained per Firebase's standard policies.
  • Email marketing preferences are stored until you unsubscribe.
  • Personal data within the app remains on your device until you delete it.

If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and data portability.

You can request deletion of your data or a copy of your stored information at any time by contacting bento@keepproductive.com.

If you are outside the UK, your information may be transferred and processed in the UK or other countries where our providers operate.

Bento Focus is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
